Specimen No. 1859365. 'Athos'.
Warning: Specimen is of the Corruption's species Corehound. Class five containment cell is to be locked and inhibitors active at all times to suppress the gem inhabiting the specimen. Should personnel enter, recommended to have three Reaper-ranked enforcers enter alongside them.
Professor Uichi's notes: It was quite the surprise when we find out that a Corehound - of all creatures of those damned Corrupted - to just...walk up to the facility! Even when guns were trained on it, it just sat there, its tail twitching slightly but other than that did nothing to try and attack us nor any of the armored enforcers that retrieved it. In fact, it just came in without a fight, like...like as though it didn't want to fight in the first place!
We found out about the corehounds name when it scratched it onto the walls. Some of the more paranoid scientists and guards thought it was trying to escape but I was able to prevent them from having the chamber depressurized when I pointed out the name that was gouged onto the wall. Why it did so was beyond me but it must have been a name that it remembered and wants to remember, given the fact that victims of the Corrupted would forget everything about their past selves. 'Athos' seems to cling onto the name, possibly the last part of it...his...whichever...former memory.
Despite the inhibitors in place, Athos doesn't seem to possess one of the gems that his kind would have. He even demonstrated such by doing self-harm to his left hind leg. Normally, any corehounds would heal almost instantly due to the gems they have, but Athos didn't heal right when the bleeding started. But of course it obviously isn't enough to convince the rest of the dimwit, paranoia-gripped others of the facility, thinking that he did have a gem but didn't heal him right off the bat.
Still, I just hope that the inhibitors will be enough to where Athos' presence will not alert any other Corrupted to the facility...

Had this for possibly several months but pretty much forgot about it until the other day. Oh, and to those who are fans/players of a certain long-lasting MMO, no. This isn't based off of one of the creatures from it, nor was I aware of it when I first made these corehounds.
