Raidy
Her species are simply called Temple protectors. they’re the equivlent of foo dogs or lion dogs, guardians of cities, shrines and temples. the species is descendant from the goddess neocria herself, and are only born when there is something of great importance to protect.
Temple protectors mature at the age of 75 years old and are assigned to protect whatever they have to protect. if they are protecting a living being, they may reproduce with them. the result is a baby Temple protector with no power, another creature the mother or father temple protector has to protect. temple protectors may die if they fail in protecting her assigned task or if the being they’re taking care of, full of hatred, leaves them behind.
Temple protectors have tremendous strenght. their claws able to pierce trough absolutely anything, their running/ speed capable of surpassing 120 mph. the tentacles on her back can not only grow longer at will, but also wider, if in need to protect her assignated task. their body power is shapeshifting, however they cannot hold the new form for too long and they cannot change color. this works as a perfect defense mechanism, as they can alter their body structure to take any hardness, texture, matter state, etc. all temple protectors also may develop a breathing power. fire, ice, thunder, poison and spirit breath. a corrupted temple protector may develop dark breath, which hypnotizes the target and makes them fall asleep in a deep,nightmarish sleep.
Raidy is very different from other temple protectors. she was assigned by Goddess Neocria herself to protect Shikka, a Remora with a Special Fate he does not know about. she matured at the age of 145, and is currently 216 human years old. needless to say, she’s seen a lot of things in her time without protecting her current task. she's also considerably weaker in terms of strenght, but she's trying to work her way to be a better protector.
Raidy’s behavior is cheerful and happy nearly everytime, trying to make something good out of every adverse situation. however she does it in order to hide her constant grief and stress. she doesnt like the idea of Protecting, but she also doesnt want shikka to get hurt. She Loves him, unlike other temple protectors with their task.
her favorite food is cake and small dragons. they’re like chicken.
