I had this guy sitting around here for awhile. This was made for my buddy
sharky. You may recognize him as the very large shark fursuit with glowing eyes wearing Happy Feet slippers running around AC every year. It was such a unique shape that I wanted to try to make it in clay in detail from his bright golden eyes down to his legs and lil sneakers. When I put it in the oven, he was upright; when he came out of the oven, his mouth was almost touching the ground. I examined what it had done and thought, "Now it looks like he's looking down at something." So I made a lil raft to put stuff in, so that he appears to be smiling evilly at whatever is in there, like candy or a lego guy. LOL It works very well.
Sharky seemed to love it! :D
3-4" tall, white sculpey. acrylic paints, clear gloss coat.
The photo at the bottom-left shows the colors most accurately.
I didn't sculpt the Tootsie Roll. XD
