This was his memory palace.
Arthur hoisted a lantern, already lit and burning as he spun around taking in the sights of the peculiar positioning of the shelves; they were all lined in a circle, converging on his exact spot. This was his mind, though. If he was feeling anything at the moment, lost wasn’t one of them.
