Transparency works on FA. You've saved the file itself as JPEG with a PNG extension.

hrrrm interesting. well I'll try uploading again later at a smaller res. I think FA's auto-resize converted the file.

FA does that by itself. Some images won't open if I download them because it'll say "Not a PNG image!"
