Now here’s something different. In my dreams and daydreams Jay isn’t always the fox you see in this gallery.

Jay’s story is set in futuristic England. A Mirror’s Edge, V for Vendetta sort of setting, where furs were once regular humans and animals. Most people’s and furs' lives are normal but secretly the government tries to do sometimes unethical research and tests on the furs. Some furs and humans realise this and fight against the unfair rules used to arrest and prosecute furs and collaborators. They fight in an underground resistance that attack secret prisons and anti-fur troop barracks. Jay (like in Mirror’s Edge) is a runner, couriering intel between resistance cells (and sometimes other messages between outside groups for money). Regular police try to arrest him and his team but often fail. To stop the runners special anti-runner units and police runners are sent to capture them (especially furs) and transport them for interrogation and imprisonment.

This piece finds Jay cornered by one of these anti-runner units, fighting desperately to escape.
