Bygones

My friendship fiends sap genes from my sleeves
That trickle-out my shirt when my heart bleeds
Please oh please don’t ignore my needs
I’m breaking sweats sowing these friendly seeds
Don’t believe-
every little thing they tell you
You’re a monster made mad man
No I’m not trying to jail you
I’m just trying to exhale you, get you out of my system
I promise you’ll understand if you open up and listen
I’m just trying to glisten with that clear conscious squeek shine
I bet you’ll recognize mine, and won’t splode land mines
Oh me oh my
Now you’re trying to be quite sly
I recognized this mind mode when I tossed the last shy guy
Don’t be shy. Don’t look at me in a stuper
If you break the bygones bones, I’ll kick your shell like a koopa troopa

And that’s not to say you would
We both recognize that won’t be no good
I hope it’s understood that I don’t wanna break the bond
And just cause we don’t hate doesn’t have to mean we’re fond
Please try to stay calm, lets try to get along
And do remember please that bygones is bygones
Just recall there was a time when we hadn’t met before
And don’t letcher ass catch ya as you leave the swingin’ door
This is like the cold war, an unspoken understanding
That if you let your bombs drop, I’ll get mine to landing
And mushroom cloud forests will blossom
So I understand if you don’t wanna hang like a possum
I don’t wanna hang too, do like the bears do
Kick it independent even though we rock the same dew
Wear the same kind of hats, we’re quite similar fellows
Just remember sir that mine’s red and yours is still yellow
