I wouldn't listen to that person btw, the characters don't look anything like each other, the only similarity is the cheek stripes which aren't that uncommon, and the canine thing, well if we where to judge furry characters by being canine we'd need to count nearly 75% of the community.
other wise the color is very well put, they match pretty well, and the colors aren't blinding like some fur-suits out there.
and good job by using a duller green then the full on neon green I've been seeing, much more pleasing to the eyes.

You worded the comment in a more visually passive-aggressive tone so it made it look like you where trying to say they copied something, putting ".-." at the end of it made it seem like you where saying it negatively like putting this emoticon or this one etc etc, so to anyone who read it, it comes off as more aggressively put, rather then neutral.
as for what I said, I said that to comfort the artist since many artist out there are very sensitive about their work, it had noting insulting to you, simply not to listen to your comment, and if you honestly think that's insulting you must really hate the internet. cause the way I worded it was more or else like saying "oh don't listen to them" like a saying.
