I've always wanted to make some sort of "criminal file paper" composition.
I realize there's some problems here and there, but mainly I'm posting this for sheer enjoyment. So unless you have some suggestions about robot parts, please refrain from pointing out errors. Just enjoy the bloodiness.
Character and Concept from a short story in development.
LOBO2M13s were originally developed as high-intelligence guard dogs, but when the LOBOco stock dropped, they attempted to redirect sales into biot 'companions'. Yet because corruption infected the company's heads, no funds were left for assembling new biot-types, so the previous LOBO2M13s were 'refurnished' and sold as pets. However, programmers failed to alter the software sufficiently before the products were shipped out so after many accidents and legal disputes, LOBOco was forced to shut their doors. Its products were either melted down or thrown out, and exoskeletal suits and insectoid biots took over the sentry market.
However one LOBO2M13, "Cassius", escaped the incinerator when a young street-racer discovered its remains while poking through the scrapyard for parts. Most of the faux-fur hide had been stripped away and the kid took the liberty of stripping away the rest while reprogramming its central processor and amping the AI unit. Cassius is now used as the sole weapons system during hover-bike street races, leaping off the bike to attack and crash rival vehicles before hopping back onto its programmer's bike.
A biscuit to the kid who knows what Asimov's 1st Law is.
