I've had this drawn up for a while and now seemed the time to color it. It shows a old bucks skull out in a lush clearing of the forest with a babbling brook . The moss has taking over the remains and a mouse scurries across what used to be a noble majestic buck that the earth is now reclaiming .

I like this piece and it's meaning. I do want to add a little critique idea: I was trying to figure out what made your pieces a little flat looking. I think it's because everything has the same saturation... maybe try fading some of the colors in the distance. Less detail on the tree stumps in the background and more detail on the fallen logs in foreground. Just my two cents.. I love your story behind all the work you do, it's done by the heart.
