Discord's Size Shenanigans (Page 13/16)
"Don't get me wrong. It's been wonderful fun! But I am just so very, very hungry."
This time, the Scout wasn't fast enough to avoid Discord's paw when it came barreling towards him. He felt gargantuan, furry fingers wrap around him, and he felt his stomach drop again as he was lifted high above the battlefield.
"I must say, I've never met someone as... spry, as you," Discord said. He tilted his hand and let go of the Scout so that the mercenary sat on the creature's enormous palm. This brought the Scout near eye-level with Discord, and Discord did not look amused up close. "And you've made me use up a lot of tricks I could have done with other snacks, only for you to scurry away and make me waste all my good material!"
Discord was snarling at this point. "So know that I am serious when I have to resort to such a cliche saying:" He opened his mouth wide, and pointed to it again. "GET IN MY BELLY!"
A nearby rooftop caught the Scout's eye as he winced from Discord's shout. With renewed energy, he leapt from the giant's paw toward it.
He felt a gust of hot breath rush past him as Discord shouted, "Oh no you don't!"
