This is a photo taken from the top of part of the Amboy Lava Flow.
The view from the higher potions is incredible, and you can see great distances from them.
Note the cinder fields in the sand, from the center of the photo, going off to the left --- the cinder cone that spewed them out (Amboy Crater) is MILES AWAY!
