This is Archburn, who is a normal lion by all means, except for the phoenix feather he ate when he was just a cub. Since then, hes found that whenever hes experiencing strong emotions, he flames up in golden fire, though it never hurts him. Once he found out why he could burst into golden flames, he ventured off to find out how to control the effect, fearing he might hurt someone he cares about without knowing how to control them.
Finding an eastern dragon to help him control his abilities, hes moved on from student to friend.
