My newly completed P-47D Thunderbolt displayed with my MiG-19S, and Ki-100 "Tony" model kits- all 1/48 scale.
This particular P-47 is painted to look like a war weary advanced trainer, often used to train pilots before being sent off to combat or for use as a squadron hack. Its painted in a camouflage of olive drab and dark green with the 1943 USAAF "Star and Bar" with the short lived red border.
