Long ago the powerful dragon Iyregon held dominion over the earth. (by default of being the most powerful and sole intelligent life form on the planet.) He was free to roam where he pleased and take what he wanted with none to opposed him. The world was undeniably his. Life was good.
but one day his world turned on its side when plunging from some deep, dark corner of the cosmos an evil menace arrived to claim the earth for itself.
For Iyregon it was something he’d never encountered before. A being with power rivaling his own and able to challenge him on equal ground.
Not about to let some squid faced intruder take what was his Iyregon faced the invading alien in a titanic clash that caused more devastation to the land around them than to each other. But at last, with one final blast of power the dragon managed to drive off his enemy. But his victory came with a cost, for the battle left Iyregon with massive wounds that forced the immortal beast to hybernate for millions of years and slowly heal from his injuries.
But for the creatures that would one day be called dinosaurs, fate was not quite as kind…….
