Bio: As a child Danny was always a lover of music, mostly raised listening to Country music, though other members of his family introduced him to other band from other genres. He grew up and lived in the city limits of Chattanooga, Tennessee, out in the countryside and coming from a long line of farmers and musicians. He realized he was gay at a young age, when he and his chilhood friend, a young whitetail buck named Levi, would have sleepovers to play games and try to write songs together. He found that he was attracted to Levi, though he wasn't sure how or if he should tell him. One night it turned out Levi would make the first move by starting up a game of truth or dare, during which Levi dared Danny to kiss him. Danny did so without hesitation, and then revealed his attraction to him, to which Levi revealed he felt the same.
Growing up the two were thick as thieves, and loved almost everything the other did. They both knew they wanted to start a band together, but they had a hard time thinking of songs and a name. Then Danny had an idea. He'd noticed that every song in the Country genre was always the same, catering to straight men and women, and usually always had the same them of going mudding, parties, beer, skinny dipping and the like. So Danny proposed they start a band that would appeal to homosexuals and other minorities, like nerds, geeks, gamers, etc. This was the perfect idea for their bad, since singing about these things would be personal to them, and allow them to sing it from the heart.
So they both got high-paying jobs, Danny working at an appliance manufacturing plant called Roper, and Levi working at an Amazon.com warehouse. In just three months the two accumulated $10,200, more than enough to buy the gear they would need. They set up a makeshift studio in Danny's place, and then began writing songs, which they then recorded and uploaded to Youtube under their new band name: The Brokeback Nerds Band. They had a couple country-themed songs that spoke to the prejudices homosexuals and nerds had to deal with when living in the deep south, as well as other songs that mixed upbeat-genres like pop and disco with Country, that acted like upbeat anthems, which created a different, refreshing sound.
It was slow during the first few weeks, but as their numbers of subscribers grew, their channel blew up a month later. Subscribers were going up by the thousands with each new song they posted, and days after they were trending on almost every social website imaginable. They even monetized their songs, and began to recieve a good, steady income from the website. It obviously didn't take long for The Brokeback Nerds Band to become noticed by a record company, who offered them a great deal. After negotiations went through to make sure they could still write their own material, they accepted, and now Danny and Levi travel the country, singing for their large and appreciative niche fanbase.
