Re-submission from deviantART.
"And I knew that the lights of the city were too heavy for me.
Though, I carried karats for everyone to see...
And I saw God cry in the reflection of my enemies and all the lovers with no time for me.
And all of the mothers raise their babies to stay away from me...and pray they don't grow up to be.."
I think this is the most that I've consecutively submitted pieces on here since I joined this site. Hahaha. But it is for good reason, as once again, this is one of my AP Concentration pieces for my portfolio, which by the way, is due dangerously close to now. So yeah, I'm cranking them out as fast as I can. I should have another, more sketchy-looking one (this is the intent) out very soon, as well.
But as well as this being background practice (the first background practice that I did will be out soonish, as well. It's not as nice as this one, but it's good enough for its job), this piece was yet another really emotional one, as I'm sure you can judge by the song used. Please don't insult at least that part of it. But also, don't worry. I'm not really sad right now, in my life. The ones towards the beginning of my series are more about my past, and towards the end, I have much, MUCH happier ones. (Can't wait to finish those). But yeah, I'm really happy with how this one came out. SO happy. I really hope you guys like it, too. c:
