I think it's better to have a lil drama on your birthday and even get presents you dont want(If often get that) at leas that shows that people remembered your birthday and might actually care for you, even if only a lil.

Awwwr, you've got a point here.. I mean I know it could have been so much worse, I was just astounded by the differences between this recent birthday to previous ones ^^'

Honestly the current society is like this, the older you get, the less people pay attention to your birthday because "usually" adults are proud and think that they dont need birthdays because that's for little kids (according to what i've seen from adults once i started to understand it). But in reality, we do want to be remembered that we survived another year so we celebrate it to be memorable for everybody.

I remember my 16th birthday was the worst so far - it was my uncles funeral, we were in my grandmas city the whole day; funeral and the meal afterwards. No one (even my grandma) even noticed that it's my birthday and just said things like "Im sorry" and things, and when they found out they were all like "ah well not a good time for birthday" and so on ~__~ really frustrated me back then x_x

Oh damn D: I am so sorry to hear that- I hope the birthdays afterwards were better :C
