I got the Need for Speed!
I was asked lately to replace a bike driver in a race which will take place tomorrow for three reasons:
- The guy I have to replace was the one who repaired my bike and who can't race. According to the rules of that race, the team HAS to be 4 bike drivers, even if all the four drivers don't have to race.
- I have an integral suit like pictured, a requirement for that race.
- It's on the road of my native village. It's MY PLACE! A road that I know by heart.
It's something scaring for sure you know? My previous bike was a roadster, that's right, but it only had half the power they gave me today. 120HP? And even lighter than mine?
When they asked me, it was like I was their only hope or they would have to give up. I accepted. And then I realised the dilemma.
They gave me a weapon.
I'm stubborn and proud, there's no way that I can lose on MY road.
And even if I know that road by heart, I'm a rookie with that bike, and they're pro for most of them...
On a hand, I know that I just have to complete the race to give points to my team, but on the other hand I can't bear the fact to lose in my own village.
So, the pre-race today was kinda surprising, and I appreciated the feeling of that bike. I did good times, but not the best ones. I hate that.
My proudness will lose me. Maybe tomorrow...

you were right, but I haven't taken any pics. Soon, some videos may be submitted, like that old one.
hehe, Fox looks serious, while Bothan seems playful like a cub. :) I wonder how she will fit all those loose hair starnds under her helmet. :)
nice leather suits there, and so form-fitting... who's got more curves, these two ladies or your street race way?
that race sounds like the one opportunity you'll be given only once in a lifetime, and can't refuse even if it will kill you. (all the while I wish you all the best on the race, and I am sure you will be among the best drivers in the end. imagine, being beaten by a complete rookie whose only advantage is the familiarity of the track). if I had been given it I would have jumped at it like a frog on bubblegum. I don't know nothing about riding a motorbike, but I can guess the fact you didn't slip off track in the first curve shows some talent. all you have to do now is driving reasonably fast, and all is well.

They look bad ass in those suits. I've never road a bike before, but I would love to. Back to the picture though... DAMN does Bothan look hot in that suit. The material hugs her just right. Also, I don't think I remember her hair in a pony tail, I think it's a great look for her.
To road a bike is something simply beyond words. It's all about how you want to ride, the way you consider the road. Calm or nervous, it's all up to you. Personnaly, bikes make me breath, make me feel I'm alive. There's no hesitation or others thoughts that could parasite your riding or you will have to pay for not being focused on the road.
That suit is a Dainese Eifel suit, the one I personnaly own and which saved my life years ago.
About her ponytail, you can see her with such a ponytail in some pics, but that's mainly her twin sister Daji who always has a ponytail ^^
