I love how the darker contrast sets off everything in the print. I remember this print well, and

I just realized the kaneshia's chest isn't white like most deer. Is she a special species of deer? I like the art work to and especially the color. The way it's shaded makes everything have dimension and all of the bright colors you choose to do it in. More I think about, I actually love it.
Thanks! This piece is actually a collaboration between myself (original line-art) and Magic Clam (color pencils). Kaneshia has features of both mule deer and white tailed deer. I've taken a number of artistic liberties with her design. Magic Clam and I have decided to leave her chest area brown for a variety of artistic reasons while keeping the white patches on the throat, face and rump.
