I have far too few images of Delu in my gallery and she is such an important character and part of me that I felt the need to upload a picture of her to my gallery.
As I said, I did not draw this, but a very important friend from my past did - Lindsay Campbell
All of my old art of her sucks and I plan on drawing her again soon, but I wanted to post this as a little tribute to her. Delu is a Gray Mouse Lemur and has been around since 2001, she represents a darker side of me that will always be there, no matter how small it will always be whispering in my ear.
Delu means "The only girl" and Nasha means "Born during the rainy season" in African.

I never forgot about her. She's always held a special place in my heart and I have always been so incredibly floored by how you're able to express different personal feelings and sides of yourself by creating characters that are so appealing that they really do seem real. I've always loved this picture of her too; Lindsay has such a knack for illustrating expression in such a gentle way that's still so visually powerful.
I have Sabine/Lulu for similar reasons and it really does help to recognize that. <3

This makes me so happy to read you have no idea ;____; It means so much to me you remember her and that she is still special to you after all these years. I just adore Lulu and would so love to see you draw her again! I always wanted to make you a finished picture of her and that is going to be my goal. I never drew you enough things ever I need to make up for that
