Both professors sound very old and senile. Such great characters, instantly classic. Their nitpicking and quarreling was hilarious...and confusing, which only made it funnier. (Maybe it was because of all those big, totally real words.)

"And you will ensure that an ample amount of females come along." Oh LOL, that's the best line I've ever read! I made a facepalm. That was so out of left field that I can't stop breaking into chuckles every time I go over it again in my head.

My only gripe is that I kept losing track of which one was Smutton and which one was Swutton. I think you may have unintentionally switched the names around in the first two paragraphs--and maybe in another place too, I'm not exactly sure. I believe that's what big time threw me.

I am a bachelor of Classical Archaeology and a Master of Artefact Studies. I've only ever worked in Italy, though. Now I've changed careers, so that's all in the past. As for Stone Henge, that's were my fiancé proposed to me! ^_^
