step 11- Now is where we start to do "a bit more". Make a new layer, and set it to multiply, and name it "blush". Lock the new layer and select "fur", unlocking it. Select the eraser tool, and set it for 60 pixels wide, and make it zero hardness. If you look, I erased the orange pixels where Pandy is supposed to be blushing. I use a soft brush for this because I enjoy a softer looking effect for this. Now lock "fur" and return to "palette". As you see, I didn't make a palette for this color, which I also need for his tongue. After picking a color I liked, I made a new swatch for this, and after locking "palette" I return to "blush". I first color the tongue so I have something to look at for the color while I'm working. Now for the blushing effect I wanted. I set the hardness for zero again, and gently color the desired area on the layer, and when I'm done I go back and erase the bits that colored things I don't want having the blush, like his eyes.
