I almost wish someone else was in charge of the decision making over at nintendo/gamefreak.
I hope they do a new plot with new playable characters in hoenn, or at least age the previous protagonists a bit, rather than just have the same story with the same characters with the new features of gen 6 awkwardly forced into it.

Well, its normal that during new generations/families, some feature is lost. Ask about your monster following you in HG/SS, why didn't they include it in later releases? Contests in gen 3 and 4. The hand clock.

Why? It's common to play the newest Pokemon game when you are a child. Because you have the appropriate console for it, usually as a gift.

Well, I'm sure happy for the news, but let be honest, at that moment Pokémon X/Y will have a year since their release, haven't you see how much difference has the old gens? It more than 1 year.
C'Mon Nintendo, gives us more time with each gen =w= Gen 5 was the most shorter (2 years or so)
