A commission I recieved a while back of Walksfar's character Hosh. The character belongs to him, no stealies!!!
I tried a new technique that I have never used before, where you do the entire image in black and white, and the only add colour at the very end. I didn't really like it, but it forced me to pay more attention to shadows and such, so that is why the lighting is much stronger than any of my other pieces.

Sounds like a great learning technique to me. I see way too many artists who have been using color for years who obviously never mastered light and shadow and could do with more black-and-white work to sort of force them to deal with it.
It's a great pic, even if you aren't fond of the technique.
