Just another practice drawing. This time, I practiced on something I've wanted to do for a long time; Divide male muscle designs from female muscles.
It's nothing great, more or less it's only that I will from now try and make the muscles of bulky males a bit more angular, while the female's muscles stay mostly rounded.
I've seen that with some artist that they more or less only use size to difference muscular males from muscular females, as in they draw the males bigger everywhere and with females they keep them much more narrow-shouldered and thin of waist, with their thighs almost being the only muscles fit to rival their male counterpart.
Well... If you haven't noticed by now, that's an philosophy I've cast into the fiery pit of hell and pissed on it's grave, so just a different way to draw muscles fits me better.
Note: None of the muscles shown here are the fixed design. The style often switches from character to character, making it more natural. These are just used to make an example.
Ignore the skulls, they have nothing to do with this.

to be honest, i dont really see a big diffrence. how are you going t keep this consistand o.o?
females are just build that way, they cant really get very bulky. unless they get a crazy testosteron boost, but thats not natural at all.
tough your approach isnt bad, it just needs to have a bit more of a diffrence. either make the males really angular, or smooth out the female part a bit more

I'm not gonna chage it too much, and as I said, this is just test desings. If you look at their deltoids, you'll see that the female version has much rounder ones, and much wider thighs too. If you at the bicep and the muscle between the bicep and tricep on the bigger arms, you'll also see that their more straight on the males than on the females.
And if you take a quick look through my gallery, you'll see that I don't give a shit about real physics. They're too restricting.
