Someone is clearly very very fond of Terry Pratchett

I love those roundabout sentences and convoluted plots Even seemingly insignifcant details bite you in the ass eventually

Good Omens is one of my all time fave books

Believe it or not, I only started to read Terry Pratchett AFTER this was written, and because somebody else made the same connection as you did.

Oooooo....thats the mark of the natural right there. With some quality editing you could fill the void left behind by Pratchett and Douglas Adams!! I liked the lil story and left just wanting to more...especially what becomes of the little girl! Especially what becomes of the artifact...esp...never mind...I wann know it all! This generally means it was good

Never read any Douglas Adams, either. Liked the Hitcher's Guide movie, though. :P That's probably why I liked it. I'm glad you liked. Its an endless work in progress.

Adams books used that same wonderfully interwoven circumlocution style that you used...complete with occasional moments of tongue in cheek humor. The books far outweigh the movie. Give em a shot if you have a few quiet days Very rewarding...and I think you'll come away with some nifty ideas on how to use that style in your way some more. Definetely looking forward to whatever you might pen next! *hugz*
