Plushie Yveltal works <i>slightly</i> different than the others. When touched, he springs to life like the other plushies, but unlike them, he can transform into a cocoon around the victim, trapping them within. In order to remain sentient, Yveltal has to absorb the energy of someone who makes body contact with him. The trapped individual isn't harmed per se, they're just kept in a docile state indefinitely.
Another difference is that Yveltal prefers individuals with a higher body temperature. So people with a fever or other sickness are of particular interest. When someone with an illness is captured, Yveltal is extra protective, and even less likely to let them go, at least until their fever has passed. He could potentially have a good use in hospitals since while the victi-- er, patient, is kept inside, the disease is incapable of spreading through Yveltal's body and into the open air.
But I wouldn't worry too much about him. I hear he's a real "softie."
