The sun is beginning to hang low in the sky. A warm push of wind wraps around you, and overhead there is a noise like a great rushing river as all the trees stir. The notes sound lonesome, an they echo around the forest, seeming to seek out something. You lay your head in his lap and stare up into his eyes as he plays, wondering where that sadness comes from. Some part of him remains unreachable, some hardened place you have yet to penetrate with your heart. He loves you around it, in spite of it. Every night, when the first star punches through, you wish for his happiness above all else, above your own...He wraps his arms around you tightly, kisses the top of your head, then his hand brings your head to his chest. You hear his big heart thumping, lulling you to sleep...

Muchas Smoochas,
KC (you know, why is "abbreviated" such a long word?)
