For Illustration 1 we had to Illustrate a scene from a story we enjoy. I chose H. P. Lovecraft's "The Nameless City," It's not one of his most famous works, but it's one of my favorites. The story is pretty much about the protagonist exploring the ancient ruins of the Nameless City, which is somewhere in the Arab Desert. He soon finds out that this city was not built and ruled by man, but a unknown race of crocodile like creatures that were here even before man. He also finds out they're not very fond of humans... Does he live? You'll just have to read the story.
