Auctions are too much fuss for me, but thank you! (also viistar, frozenpyro71, groovebird and dustysculptures make some incredible pony sculpts on DA)
Just look at that freakin' mane. Definitely stands among your best works, and you oughta be proud of Dashin' with the best! :3
I also commend you your perfectionist streak and eye for detail. "Meticulous" doesn't quite cover it: It's lovely. Begs to go on adventures with, really, and we all know Dashventures are the best. *Sighs*

I do some minor filling in of nicks and scratches with a hobby filler, the name of which escapes me at the moment. Mostly though it's just a round of dremeling, then a round of sanding sponges of various grits. If I could sculpt like "Viistar" on deviantart I wouldn't even need to sand. http://viistar.deviantart.com/art/P.....-wip-519659768 What she achieves with sculpey is nothing short of outrageous. To finalize, I use thinner and thinner coats of acrylic color then a matte spray varnish. It hides any remaining flaws and makes things look nice and cartoony.
Shapeways color sandstone printing is pretty snazzy. If I sculpt something digitally I'll have to think about getting it finalized by them.
