A few of you may have heard a bit about Yami Woodleaf from me, him being one of my oldest characters. This is his younger brother, Kami, who until now has never been drawn before. As such, a short bio is in order...
While Yami eventually chose to forgo training in his magic arts to become a warrior, Kami searched for answers to his many questions in life. He eventually found his answer in religion, and chose to become a member of a clergy when he grew up. As with all creatures of his world, magic comes naturally to him, and he focuses on improving his magic power for the purposes of healing the wounded. He also gives spiritual guidence, but only to those who seek it. He's fairly soft-spoken, but intellegent, and tries to be easy to get along with to the best of his ability (although he is not nearly as social as his brother). And despite his appearances, he is actually fairly strong, although his physical strength does not hold a candle to Yami's.
This drawing was done for me by DHS at Rocky Mountain Fur Con 2008. She works a lot, so she tends to be facing downward at her table with her head buried in work, but I assure you she's quite a friendly person if you speak to her. If you like this drawing, you can find more of her work at naiadstudios.com (which I highly reccomend checking out, as both her human and furry art is quite beautiful).
