Since you aren't sure why the FA admins took down your second life screen shot, I'll just paste you this bit of information from the Acceptable Upload Policy found at the bottom of all of the pages you'll find on this website:

Public domain/fair use models provided the uploader cites the model's creators/sources
Screenshots of applications, games, movies of content the uploader has created unique content (does not include character creators)
Screenshots or sprites of copyright games may be used if part of a comic or recurring series of narrative images
Permitted inScraps
Generated images (character generators, terrain generators)
Not Permitted
Screenshots of applications, games, movie or websites
3D models requiring purchase/sale to use (unless specifically custom made for the uploader)

So it doesn't matter that Linden Labs, the creators and operators of Second Life, and already given us their permission to use SL snapshots and videos?

I guess even the Admins don't always read the descriptions.

The admins of this website have a right to deny people from posting game snapshots, after all this is an art site and it's about showcasing artistic talents. They don't care if linden labs grants you permission to post snapshots, they are fully within their right to make second life snapshots unacceptable uploads.

Besides really you should be more worried about crediting the creators of the avatars that you're claiming are your copywrited OCs.

To be honest, you're making the Admins sound like a bunch of oppressive, tyrannical control freaks.

They don't instill a lot of quality control, so I don't think they're oppressive, they just don't want their servers and their user's inboxes filled with non-artwork submissions. This is an art site, so it makes sense.

You mean creating our own avatar parts using SL's 'Build' tool as well as creating our own textures for skin and hair as well as writing our own scripts isn't creative?
