Not much is known about the red dragon who is known by the villagers and knights of the Mrathe region, as "The Great Pain", "Blood Lance", or "Dark Heart". To other dragons, she only is referred as Andrafel, the one who lives to die, something of an anathema to other dragons. While she holds terror in the hearts of humans who have had to face her wrath,her attacks are seemingly random and usually she has been seen to capture wizards or other well knowing persons who have come to the land to study her kin. What happens to these unfortunate individuals in unknown, but few dare to investigate, for Andrafel is always near and raising her ire is the worst thing an mortal could achieve.
Say hello to my fiery tempered red dragon, Andrafel! I have always loved the desing of D&D:s dragons and eventually I just had to make one ~ This is an mere headshot of her, an type of prototype, since much of her story is still not published and the marks of her past are not seen here. Dare to make your suggestions, but I will say that this is an Red Dragon who you will not want to meet anytime.

That type of head, those spikes and scales, everything is just beautiful 8D
And you did a great job with the coloring. She looks majestic like that, keep it up :D
As for the dragon itself, she doesn't look so friendly. Guess she's so ferocious that everyone runs away from her. :O
