Looks a typical arctic wolf fur pattern. And I don't mean the actual Canis lupus arctos, I mean the generalized arctic area of gray wolves in alaska and northernmost canada. Their pelt colors vary from white, offwhite (like this), whites with blacks, ect.

But, I'm sure you already know that. :3

Actually she bought it and sent it to me so I wasn't sure of her origins!
But that would've been my guess anyways. I think my wolf Pigwidgeon is too, he's much heavier,
and fluffier than any wolf I've ever seen and MUCH fatter.

The machenzie valley wolf (Takes up the majority of western and central canada) is the second largest gray wolf subspecies.

No clue to be honest. He's not necessarily longer than any other wolf I've seen just
supremely fat. His face is also bigger than most wolves I've handled, even though he

Can I just say right now I am SUPER jealous of that pelt? ;~; Once I move out of California I am going bankrupt on buying arctic wolf pelts. xD

Some people say he looks arctic but I don't know if he is or isn't. I just nabbed
him off Ebay for $300 something!

Red wolves just look like coyotes to me.

I did a project back in college for my environmental class about red wolves.. their face shape, ear points and shape, and nose pad size are different.. however the juvenile red wolves do look similar to coyotes! http://www.wildwnc.org/sites/defaul.....nd/jul-782.png

I've got a few red yotes but I love this rusty colouration in wolves. I'm currently on the look out for a mountable wolf myself.. I just called glacier wear today and they got a huge shipment of new wolves in just this afternoon, (still some decent cheap ones, fully complete for <$250. If you're interested, better get em while they last!) I don't really like how their tan re-hydrates but right now H&F is out of decent wolves and I want to do a wolf softy so dern badly.

Oh I know the difference, they just look way more like a coyote than a wolf to me.

soft mounted and I can't wait. I prefer HF's tan but GW's smells nice. This girl's ears are slipping though but not noticeably.
I've always been told GW has questionable mountable quality so I tend to avoid them. Best of luck finding a good one! I want a black
one myself.
