Nice, though is it just me or is there in the 4th to last frame an ear, then in the 3rd to last none, and the 2nd to last has the ear again? Or is it just shading?

No, it's not just you. You caught that little error of mine. That frame with the missing detail was added as an afterthought, so I overlooked it.

Oh wow, this is really awesome! <3 I think human-to-avian anatomy is some of the most difficult to pull off, and I'd say you pulled it off beautifully here.

Wow this works pretty well! Not a fan of avians myself but i can appreciate this. None of the frames look redundant and the expressions match. Jutting the teeth out is a clever solution since beaks are generally a problem area.

Thanks so much, it's good to know that I can make something like this interesting for you. Yes, I saw that approach to making beaks out of human faces and i never forgot it. Though, there is one other way I would enjoy doing it. Feels good to have a grasp on something like that.

Man... I'm not very experienced with animations like that but the frame by frame transition seems to be a little bit too hard. I know Flash has tools that help smoothen out the transitions but not sure if they would work in this case.

Thing is, I'm sure there are tools that would make your life easier than having to do the transitions frame by frame.

It would not help me get the results i'm looking for. I'll learn the hard way before employing tricks. Using those can make for movement that doesn't seem "real". If I wanted it to be easy, I wouldn't have even tried this. It's just a lot of work to make it good and this is me wetting my feet.
