Just Let The Moment Be
I was listening to a rather lovely song one day called Champagne High by Sister Hazel. For some reason, I could see that being Seraphim’s song for when he thinks about giving Chao up to Coal. I could see her sitting there as he finally speaks to her about finally coming to terms with letting her go and how that’s how his life story goes, as he would put it. I could Chao getting a little sorry for him and giving him a surprise kiss to him as if to say, “Truthfully, I don’t know how our future will turn out, don’t give up.”
Sketch wise, I love the kiss. I usually don’t like my kissings but I actually kinda like how this one turned out. Seraphim’s pose and expression portrays to me perfectly that he really wasn’t expecting this from Chao and her closeness to him, I feel like like I really got the emotional feelings in her heart. Overall, I’m very pleased with it ^^

...You know, this is the second picture in which you've had a scene like that, and much like the first time, I still like the idea behind it.
Seraphim looks like he in absolutely in no way whatsoever saw this coming. He just didn't. Yet it's that look of comfortable surprise that's on his face that I like.
[Translated: "Comfortable surprise" being the idea that he didn't see it coming, and was shocked by it, but won't mind as opposed to the "OMG WHAT IN THE NAME OF SWEET MERCIFUL URSULA?!!!!" ] I mena his posture just has open eyes of shock rather than a full blown, hair standing on end moment of intense shock.
While a certain somebody looks like that's supposed to be a supportive kiss, rather than one for complete surprise. And that I like. That I truly happen to enjoy~
