MCFC Sketch - Kalena bubble bath
A fun sketch born out of a conversation with 
manukoa. We'd been talking about picture ideas and I think he mentioned a bubble bath picture which had been sketched out by 
nanook123 and I mentioned some of the amusing things that 
Calicougar's parrot Goonie would do with her drinking water (ie: stepping into it and flapping her wings to 'bathe" and in the process making a huge mess). Kalena here is too high on the intelligence scale to act like Goonie, but there's still a part of her I believe that would react with delight and glee at a bubble bath rather than flat-out luxuriating. :)

Your story about Goonie made me smile. I've seen birds of prey stand right inside of their water bowl and begin to splash all around. They dunk their heads underneath the water and then throw the water upwards onto their backs. They use their wings to splash more water onto themselves. It looks like they're having a blast!
I have to wonder how much bird instinct Kalena has vs. "civilized instinct." Maybe if she was at a beach, she might just 'let loose" and allow her avian instincts to take over and splash around all happily. :> In the commission above, I wanted to depict Kalena enjoying a luxurious bubble bath after a long day at work. Kalena loves her bubble bath. (I also don't think Kalena would want to spend hours cleaning up the bathroom and drying everything!) Heheh.
