The paladin Macarius' choices land him in a world of conflict and trouble, and he's been trained to solve conflicts with the whip, or failing that, the sword. A fantasy adventure romp I wrote inspired by a friend of mine, that will include content and "go places" the cartoons we grew up on never quite ventured to.

I borrowed Macarius from my rp roster to write a story for a friend, who told me he liked certain. . . religious themes, and heroes captured and tested, chained and whipped.

I said I'd happily jump in and write one for him! I got to about page 2 and fizzled. . . That was two years ago? And then I revived it, and instead of writing the story he had in mind, I wrote an adventure-y romp. :D

This is a glorious re-edit and expansion, and now I'm super-proud of it. There will be more to come for sure.
