Here is the male, or Poppa House Finch. The male birds are always more colourful then the females, and the male will have lots of red on the hed and breast. He too is watching me next door neighbor and I work on our porches making sure that his nest remains undisturbed. No problem there!!!! I really love having them on me front porch and these nesting finches return year after year.
