Kits aren't fully weaned from the dam till 4 weeks old and most breeders won't let them go till they are around 6+ weeks old
if you got her now then i'd be complaining :<

she is beautiful though ,sooooo lucky , i have always wanted a double rex or hairless <3

also if she is the only ratty they don't really do well alone (unless your willing to spend countless hours keeping her occupied with attention and keeping her mind busy ect ) ,they are social animals and like to be in groups known as mischief's

Yesh I've kept normal rats befor and I know there social but I plan on spending every day with her and having her out around the house with me. If she does get lonely tho, ill get her another girly rat to b friends with :)

I just got done playin tag with her and she is munching in her lil food bowl as I type this ^,,^

lol when i play tag with my ratties one of them always grabs hold of my hand with their teeth :'D

Just double checked with the breeder, he said she's a month old ^,,^

Hmmm I b wrong! I think he said 4.... But she's eating food and the mother was being kept in a different cage. Plus all 10 of her brothers and sisters look healthy.... Ya and she defiantly is older than 2 weeks! I've breed rats before. She is old enough ^,,^

I am a past-breeder of rabbits and owner of many rats and bought 2 from a accredited breeder of rats , still say 4 week old is far too young to be rehomed 6+ weeks is the recommendation,mine where 8 weeks old when i got my 2 and the breeder would not allow them to be sold alone :<

good thing she isn't 2 weeks though , i was going to say she does look older than 2 weeks and ask if it was a typo but i've never seen a hairless baby lol .

I never got a rat but I heard they aren't dirty, and very intelligent. My octodon are very intelligent and they smell fresh grass lmfao, so I trust people saying rats are cool ! c:

Ya I had a male for 3 years and he died last month :/ he was super sweet and cool, but Matilda is a lil lady ^,,^

yeah I lost my bunny in august, then my dog in november... and my ferret had a tumor and she had 99% to have cancer. Per chance they saved her because they cleared the place correctly and she's part of the 1%. But if I had to lose one of my 3 degus, or my ferret or cats, I don't know how I'll live it :c
