Linking Back? What?
Omigosh, people frustrate me so very much. People who Post other people's art and don't give a source link back to the original. Especially if you're on FAcebook. Linking back to the original creates the opportunity for people to find the original artists. The fact the you can now find the original artist means that you can now look through their gallery, get in contact with them, perhaps even Commission them. It helps the artist.
A lot of Fruitard idiots think that linking back to the original artist isn't going to do anything at all. Like, "You ain't gunna get rich off art". The average person doesn't realize that Yes, we might not get rich BUT WE'LL LIVE!!!!! For most Artists I've met (that weren't on DA), art was their income. It pays for food and bills. I'm an artist who is trying to live off of their work, and when Someone reposts an image by me without linking, I have now just lost potential business to help aid in me living and supporting house and family.
Facebook is an incredible place to get word around the internet of something. How could Someone POSSIBLY think that linking back to the original artist isn't important?

For art, It is VERY difficult.
A facebook page lives off of likes and shares on things that are posted.
If no one likes pr shares on things, then the things posted don't get seen by
other people. You have to be quite active and talk with your audience, conversate.
I post funny comics from time to time and hope that someone shares it.
Sharing is like... the BEST thing because then lots of new people get to see it.
sharing and liking keeps a page alive.
That's why if i really like a facebook page, i tend to share the pic rather than just liking it.
When you make something good. Like do some fan art of pokemon,
then share it to the right pokemon page (Say one with like... a couple 1,000 likes)
then that thing can REALLY move across the internet.
