His lower legs plunged into the waters below, but thankfully for Huo, he was large enough to stand on the sands below, his head level and soon past the ground he was originally at. Despite the fire type of him, bodies of water didn't bother him at all. Long as it wasn't focused into a stream like that of a Hydro Cannon, he could be able to swim if he wanted to. He glanced over to Luca, who had jumped back due to his growing form and onto the raised area, the blaziken smiling as he stopped his growth for the moment and rested his arm on the little cliff.
“Hey, since I'm growing like this, how about you join in on the fun?” he asked the lucario, the claws on his hand-talon digging into the ground a bit.
Luca simply gazed up at the giants head, thinking for a bit. Even though that Huo had gone past the agreed size, he was aware of the…for a lack of better words, anomaly…that surround beings like him; Anything they destroy or wreck would be reset after a nights sleep, as well as their size. Luca was one of them, though he wasn't exactly as fond of growth as Huo was. He didn't hate it, but he didn't really like to grow all that much.
“Well? I know that you always want to try and one-up me.” Huo pressed, chuckling as he grinned at the lucario.
That was one line that Luca himself didn't exactly like hearing, especially when Huo was feeling rather cocky about this situation. Each time that he said that, it was his way of challenging the lucario to a growth contest. The rules were rather simple; Grow and grow to try and outgrow your opponent until time is up. Very simple in design, but rather risky due to all the – mostly – unintended destruction the growth would end up doing. However, the offer to best Huo at his own game was something the lucario wasn't going to pass up, grinning slightly as well.
“Alright, if you wish…” he replied, lifting a hand-paw up with the spike facing him, sticking the blunt tip into his mouth and blew.
