The tender moment was finally broken when their lips parted. Mirsanda smiled at the panther she was snuggling.
"You know, Jason, you did say your other senses are heightened a little to compensate for your blindness. How does it feel when we kiss?"
Jason sighed wistfully. "You know that great feeling where everything is just perfect and you feel completely content with life and all its glories?"
"Yeah?"
He grinned widely. "Nothing like that. It actually tickles a little."
The vixen giggled happily. "I'll take that. Now, hush up, Windbag and I'll tickle you a little more," she cooed.
"Heeeey, you're the one that talked f-mmmmph."
Miranda and Jason enjoyed the simpler things together. It was hectic enough being an actress, an IT tech guy and superheroes helping defend the city of Colmaton. Stripping that all away gave them a chance to know each other better. And for a while, it was the best thing in the world just to go do something together and talk. And share a kiss or two.
