A commission for based on the true story of Hachiko, an akita from Japan who waited for his deceased owner at a train station for almost a decade. The scenery was to be recreated from the 2009 film which I recommend. I also recommend the film 'Red Dog' while we're on the topic of loyal canines.

Here, mBlade has travelled to visit the statue of Hachi (the real one being in Japan) to connect and mourn with his akita kin. A lovely piece to work on, I'm glad I got to explore the story.
