you know the history of this canon place ? near my town i have they remains of the basement of the Pariser Kanonen used during the WW1 for shoot on Paris https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paris_Gun

for me it loks like a fixt AA 40mm bofors position for singel or double guns. But it can also be a 75mm Bofors AA gun but it is har to see how deep the ammo storage is in this photo.
Either way nice photo Wuffen!

Hade fel va inget Lv batteri. Pjäsplatsen är en av 3 till Batteri Bäckstrand som bestod av 3 st 15 cm kanon m/98.
Pjäsernas ursprung är från Pansarskeppet Dristigheten.
Batt BD: utgick ca 1950

Bäckstrand ja, det låter bekant det. ^^ Thanks for tha info man. ;)
Vart där senast i höstas, visade runt en vän lite granna på ön. Hade ingen kamera den gången tyvärr dock.
