Ink + Flat Color commission for

Here's a fun commission I did for Bree! I'm sure you've already placed the theme; its pretty obvious, heh. Bree asked if I'd be interested in drawing two of his characters as Mario and Yoshi in the Super Mario World boxart (http://pics.mobygames.com/images/covers/large/1171064749-00.jpg), and as usual there was no way I could say no. The background was admittedly more Super Mario Bros 3 inspired, but either way they're still the same universe, more or less. XD
When looking at the original cover art I'm pretty impressed with myself; I completely freehanded this entire drawing but somehow I managed to get the shapes almost exactly the same! How did that happen!? I guess simple shapes and familiarity with the characters goes a long way. Anyway, a nice nostalgia trip for me, and a fun commission to boot. :)
