I've heard that before but the rest of the plant doesn't match up, this is just a little closeup of a rather large bush. Thanks for the comment though!

hmmm not sure then, i used to be a floral manager and that was the first thing that came to mind when i saw the flower but its not a tru hyacinth (if you look close you can see the difference in the petals) so thought maybe it was a hybrid or something

We've got a lilac bush in the backyard, but I never really pay attention to it so I'm not 100% sure about it....
