Dunno why, but I feel the urge to post these.
These were taken at Fort Worth NJRB, the home of Lockheed Martin's Fort Worth plant, on December 15th 2006. The first flight of the F-35 Lightning II.

It's always awesome to be there at the unveiling of new aviation technology. I was present at a few airshows in my day, but nothing as awesome as the opening of DIA, on September 25, 1994, where I got to see pretty much every awesome airplane fly into the airport (That was still in commission at the time).
