Sacha is a polar bear girl I've had rolling around in my head ever since I first laid eyes on my friend
Cylnx 's girls Jamie and Cheeyana. I fleshed out her backstory some when playing her in a d20 BESM game.
Sacha Beskryostnov was born in Ketchikan, Alaska.
Her great grandfather on her father's side was a pilot for the Soviets, and her great grandfather on her mother's side flew for the United States. Her father flew helicopters for the United States Coast Guard. So she has been around flying machines all her life and makes a living a flying private charters with her Sikorsky S-70 (Also don't touch her helicopter, unless she says it's okay.)
In addition to being a pilot the 7'8" ursine is a bodybuilder, and practitioner in Sambo, and Chun Kuk Do. She fights in mixed martial arts tournaments whenever tourism is slow.
Sacha gets her nick name Bearzerka cause she has a habit of blowing her fuse and punching first, then asking questions later.
I was going to give her ice powers like she had in BESM but when looking up polar bears and polar bear anthros, there is a hell of a lot that use them, so she is now just a martial artist/brawler type character. (Of course in BESM she fought using martial arts and a manhole cover, not sure if I'll keep that as her primary weapon.)
Leaning towards giving her a power in the form of 'rage chi' the angrier she gets the more powerful her blows land. I mean calm and in control she can punch through solid steel, so if ticked off she can be a polar bear hulk with combat training. Orginally she had an aura of cold that 'dropped' in temperature the angrier she got. And broke people and things by turning them/it so cold it'd go brittle and shatter.
That said design wise I drew my inspiration from Cylnx, she wears fuzzy insulated boots and a WW2 Bomber's Jacket...and a bikini...probably red...And yes I have her a certain cartoon princess's hair style...I haven't SEEN the film, just thought it'd be appropriate for her design.
